The Pelikan Souveran 800 fountain pen feature Pelikan's unique differential piston filling system, allowing a large ink capacity with visible indication of the ink level via the translucent barrel. These fountain pens feature an acrylic resin finish barrel and cap that is synonymous with Pelikan fountain pens. They each have a handcrafted 18K gold and rhodium nib. They also have solid brass inner components and an 18K gold-plated clip and trim. Ebay currently has these available.

If you are looking for a Big German Pen, the Pelikan Souveran 800 is the way to go. Since the day I received it, this has been my pen of choice. Excellent quality, brilliant ink flow, smooth in writing and luxurious looks. Be aware that this pen is big, so if you have small hands you should probably go with the 400 or 600 series.
