Pelikan Pens

The regenerated regard of fountain pens as writing instruments during the recent number of years has been followed by a rise in the number of collectors. Collectors of rare pens are different from other collectors in that lots of them choose to use their collection, at least every so often. A vintage fountain pen can literally last a lifetime if it's well looked after.

Recently I borrowed a Pelikan pen from a mate of mine and felt I was in the attendance of something special. Looking on eBay I found a merchant offering for sale a Pelikan Epoch 361 Zircon-Silver. Fortunately I purchased it for a superb price. It was stated that it was new in the box and I must say was he truthful. It was in as good as new condition, with internal and outer boxes and all the papers. What a superb writing instrument and everyone is asking me how they can buy one. The most important fact for me is that it is a beautiful Pelikan pen. It floats across paper like no other pen I’ve ever used. I take my hat off to the Pelikan designers, this truly is a masterpiece.

It's very important to choose a nib with the most suitable point to suit the users writing habits. There are alternative point breadths that produce correspondingly different sized scripts, depending on the pressing that is placed on them.
